Here at Valspar Trade, we’re proud to announce we are now an Associate Member of the Painting and Decorating Association.

The Painting & Decorating Association (PDA) has a key role to play within the UK decorating industry, being the largest trade body for painters and decorators. First founded in 1894 out of a need for painters and decorators to support one another and a desire to raise the profile of the craftsmanship within the wider construction industry, today the PDA offers a range of tailored business support to painters and decorators across the country. The PDA also serves to showcase the scope of services offered by Members to commercial markets and consumers in the UK.

Speaking on the announcement, Richard Palmer, Head of Trade UK (Valspar) – Consumer Brands Group said: “The Painting and Decorating Association is such an important and prominent part of today’s industry, embedded within its culture. As such, we’re honoured for Valspar Trade to now be an Associate Member of the Painting and Decorating Association, alongside so many of our industry’s very best suppliers, painters and decorators.

“While Valspar Trade was first launched in the UK in 2015, we bring with us a rich 200-year heritage from the Valspar name and Sherwin-Williams family. We’re really excited to move forwards as part of the PDA and are looking forward to continuing to support the amazing UK decorating industry with our range of high-quality products.”
